Recycling Service
– Your Green RUT Eligible Service
What is the Recycling Service?
Our service involves collecting and transporting your old furniture, appliances and other household items from your home to auctions, second-hand shops and other retailers. By recycling instead of throwing away, we contribute together to a more sustainable future. We handle the entire process - from carrying out and loading your items to transporting and unloading them at a recycling site where they can find a new home.
Wastepicks Green Thinking
At Wastepick we care about the environment and strive to reduce waste through reuse. Our reuse service is part of our larger commitment to sustainability. We ensure that all items we handle, where possible, are reused or recycled properly. By choosing us, you are choosing a company that prioritizes the environment and works for a greener future for Gothenburg.
What does the law say?
Since 2021, you can use the RUT deduction to get a reduced cost for the removal of household goods for reuse. This includes furniture, appliances and other items that can be resold or donated to businesses that promote reuse, such as flea markets, second-hand stores and auctions. For the deduction to apply, the transport must end at a location where the recipient actively operates a reuse business, and where staff are on site to receive your items.
